Emotions are influenced by the beliefs held in the mind. False beliefs distort and warp the natural emotions and make them extreme or makes them supressed.
I think it is impossible to have truly healthy emotions as long as you are believing false things. So if you have any emotional problem you should examine any beliefs associated with the problem. Find out if the beliefs you have are really true or not. As soon as you realize that a belief is false then it will lose much of it's power over you. It will slowly fade away or vanish instantly allowing true emotional mastery to blossom within you.![]()
